Dr. Kerry (Chia-Hua) Chan was born and raised in Taichung, Taiwan. Her passion for health promotion started early in college and grew deeper while working in the public health department after her master's degree in Epidemiology and preventive Medicine. Watching her mom recover through Chiropractic care after many other care options failed, she was inspired to become a chiropractor.
She traveled to visit chiropractors since Taiwan is one of the few countries that has not formally recognized the legitimacy of the chiropractic profession. She took the challenge and moved to the Bay Area, pursuing Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West, graduating with Cum Laude honors.
She has taken hundreds of hours of additional training, including caring for a range of people from infants to elderly, as well as numerous chiropractic techniques. She also has grown her passion for upper cervical chiropractic working with a variety of neurological conditions. She believes specific and gentle chiropractic care releases each individual's powerful healing potential. Outside of the office, she finds herself enjoying yoga, nature, culinary arts, spending time with her family, and is currently learning to play tennis.
